WORKING TOGETHER

The first part of each section is a series of linked exercises developing ideas & techniques step-by-step.

Teachers working with low attainers have found using the Interactive Whiteboard format of WORKING TOGETHER more beneficial in MOTIVATING their students, which is available on the Teachers’ Resource CD-Rom.

Teachers working with more able Foundation students, aiming for a Grade C, found it more beneficial to use the exercises in WORKING TOGETHER as teaching material in the usual way on their classroom boards.

 ON YOUR OWN

The second part of each section includes motivating puzzles and problems, as well as exam-style questions, based on the ideas met in WORKING TOGETHER.

More difficult material (for Grades D and C) is usually at the end of each topic. Sections that contain Grade C material are labelled with a C on each topic contents page.

Teachers/students choose as much, or as little, as is needed from ON YOUR OWN,
depending on the abilities and needs of the students.
